New Camera Pics

Here are some pictures with my new Canon XTI. They are getting better. I changed the ISO from 100 to 200/400 for the Christmas tree shots and I lengthened the shutter speed from 20-30 seconds. I like the star effect the extra shutter speed gives the lights. Neat huh?

A shot from the bottom of the tree up. I left out some of the very bottom by the presents. I like the different angle.

Here are a couple of my favorite pictures that Michelle, Jimmy and I took this weekend:

Jack 6 month-old pictures

Pictures taken on 6.18.06, his six-month birthday, at Michelle's house on her deck. Used a white fluffy/chunky piece of fabric for the backdrop. The angels wings were made by me. I used a piece of art board covered with white linen to attach the wings to. I attached a piece of white satin ribbon to tie the whole contraption around jack and I used white pipe cleaners for the wings, bent them in the shape of wings and covered them with tulle and stitched it together and then glued it to the art board.

Here is my favorite picture I took. It's probably the most non-typical but I love it. It's cute, classic, shows a different perspective and above all looks angelic. What do you think? I didn't have the best lighting for these pictures but I think they are okay looking.

Auntie Kay Album

Check out my album of Auntie Kay. Shots I took on the beach, near the beach and in the beach house.  A little off in color because of them taken late at night but they are still good. The thing that amazed me the most when I proofed them were the brilliant green of her eyes. Wow! Stare at that young men... and dream.

Jack - 3 weeks old

My first attempt at baby portraiture. What do you think? I used a black suede background, window late morning light, a piece of whote posterboard as a reflector and a coffee table with a towel for Jack to lay on.

I was just goofing around in this shot. I wanted a picture of Nick's hand's. He is a mechanic and they are always dirty and we are always ragging on him about it. His pants are always dirty and torn too. so this shot, despite the fact that Nick is not in the pic. is totally him.
