Okay, so doing the humor show by myself wasn't that exciting. My jokes just aren't as funny if there isn't someone other than me laughing at them. Kind of like the proverbial tree in the forest. It isn't funny unless there is somebody there to laugh at it other than myself. It seriously felt as if I was having a conversation with myself. With one obvious exception...people could hear me over the air waves. Kind of like public shaming.
So tonight I'm doing the radio show solo. Gary is in Charleston, SC for work so I'm doing the show all by myself which I imagine will be like spending an entire hour talking to myself. Could be interesting. Could be scary. Could be bad. I guess we'll see. The link to the radio show is on the left. Click it and it should take you to the show.
So...did anybody listen to the show last night? I know Dad did and Michelle caught the tail-end of it. Just wondering what you thought. Constructive criticism works well for us. We are forever developing and refining the show. We have only been doing the show together for a couple of months, not even, so any opinions help.
What did you think of the Soccer commentary? I thought it was funny but my accent stunk last night. I just couldn't get it right. I'll work on it though.
So...what did you think of the show last night? Just wondering because Gary and I are trying to develop it. You know, try and do some regular things and do some sporadic things.
I just want to know what you think works. What do you like? More comedian cd plays? More jokes? More friendly banter between the hosts? I really value your opinion so if you could post what you think that would be awesome! What should we get rid of?
