Auntie sheila was in heaven watching both of her great-nephews on saturday. Korben's parents were working and Jacob's were shopping with the rest of the family at budd's tree farm lookung for a christmas tree.

Thanksgiving Sugar Cookies

Scenes from our annual Thanksgiving day Cookie-making day. Michelle, Kim and I...and whoever else wants to meet at a house and make homemade "Grandma's" Sugar Cookies. They are tasty. If you've ever been blessed enough to get one then you know how good they are. All other bakers and sweet-shoppe owners step aside for these cookies. Anyways enough with the theatrics and on with the pictures.

We had Godfather's pizza first...so we wouldn't sneak bites of cookie and frosting and Jacob wanted somee too. He kept eyeing the pizza and giving us all the look that said, "I want some, I can eat it. Give me some. Why you holdin' back?" He even grabbed at Kimmie's when she was eating. It was hilarious!

My and the peanut (Jacob). He wasn't too happy at this point. He needed a nap.

Jack working on frosting some cookies. He really laid the frosting on thick...but of the time he got distracted because he'd get frosting on his fingers then he'd stop to lick it off. He's gonna have a gut ache tonight.

Frosting colors and tons of cookies. We had pumpkins, turkeys, maple leaves, oak leaves and apples.

Our bags with just round tips on them. We used a piece of yarn to tie the ends off so that when the kids "helped" frost cookies they didn't squeeze out the frosting. It worked like a charm.

My mom's cookie. I usually write Mom but today I wrote Ma instead.

Birthday, Snowstorm and Santa Claus

What do they have in common? My weekend.

Made a "Fish House" cake for Guy on Saturday. Jack and Grace were a big help. ahem.

See...."We Love Daddy" That's what they wanted on the cake. They also added a fish house door, a picture of Gracie (on the left), some ocean water (that's the blog and a fishing pole *underneath the blob).

After making the cake we went outside to play. Well, I went outside to scrape my car and get it warmed up and Jack and Grace went outside to play.

Gracie tried to help shovel the driveway but she got tired fast.

Jack chasing me with a pile of snow. He thought it was funny to try and throw it on me...but instead of getting me he got his Mom. Ha ha. I pulled her in front of me at the last minute and she was too busy yapping with Mom to notice. So Jack threw the snow at her. ha ha

Not shown: Lunch with Jayde at Costa's. Love that place. Got the skinny on the noodles in the chicken noodle soup. Oh yeah now I've got the best noodles for my soup. he he Also, Jayde got his 3-year sobriety pin.

Sunday we went to Breakfast with Santa at the Holiday Inn in Medford.

Jack talking to Santa and telling him he wants Legos for Christmas and telling him that Gracie wants a doll. LOL (strange boy in front of my picture. Damn kid. LOL)

Still talking to Santa...I mean to his hands. LOL He seems a bit shy  here but he got right up there and talked to Santa even if he didn't look at him.

Gracie wasn't as scared this year. She walked right up there but she wouldn't actually talk so Jack did the talking for her.

Eating breakfast. Santa stopped by and was talking to both of them. They really got a kick out of that. Jack ate around 8 french toast sticks. What a piglet. LOL Gracie didn't eat much. She just wasn't into the food but she was pretty into her candy cane.

We checked out the trees after that. There were a ton and the kids really got into looking at each and every one. Gracie loved the pink trees with cupcakes and ice cream cones. Jack really loved the big tree and the cooking tree.

TV Shows I'm watching

*Mike and Molly Season 2

This show makes me laugh so hard. Seriously. I scare the dog sometimes. LOL I love it. Can't beat this comedy. Season 2 is when Mike and Molly move in together at her mother's house with her sister Victoria and start planning their wedding. So you know what kind of antics are involved when Mike moves in with 3 women. In one episdoe he is eating a sandwich on the roof. LOL

*Hot In Cleveland

Betty White. Need I say more? No better comedic actress than her. Now, take her and add 3 beautiful ladies who are hilarious and that equals one of my favorite shows. I dare you to watch it and not laugh. I double-dog dare you.

*Once Upon a Time

A new show out this year about Grimm's fairy tale characters being stuck in modern day America. The story goes back and forth between the past and the present showing how they got there and how they are trying to escape. It's riveting and the queen is so evil. She's scary.

*Dancing with the Stars Season 13

I'm rooting for Ricky and Derek. I love her style so graceful and she just loves to dance. You can see it on her face. She goes out there and becomes the character and is enjoying herself. Love her.

*Top Chef Texas

Can't beat Texas...probably going to be a lot of beef and weird meat. Although right off the bat we saw a whole pig and some sea urchins. :) Can't wait for this season.

*Sons of Anarchy

*Harry's Law

She's a crotchety old bat but damn if she isn't funny and dramatic all at the same time. Love her and the cast. They come across some very interesting stories and law cases. I love her twist on them and her humanity and how she looks at the base of law not all the crap people try to make it be but what the law really stands for.

*The Closer

In it's 7th season and still good. Brenda Lee Johnson gets the job done and she is smart enough to work around any problems she encounters and get the confession. in short, she's a closer. Love this show. Have been watching it since the beginning and this will be the last season. How sad. If you like crime drama, you should watch this. It isn't a CIS or that detailed but it does follow how to find a suspect and catch him based on the facts and interviews and physical evidence.
