Here are some pictures I took a couple weekends ago with Jimmy. We headed up to Mankato and took some pictures at the Minneopa State Park. I was hoping for some good waterfall shots but everything was dried up, but that allowed me to get some other more different and unexpected pictures.
Jimmy with Korby on the frontside and his photography backpack on the backside. Korby loved this. He was kicking his legs and waving his arms and having a grand old time getting carted around.
I love this picture because it shows all in one frame the different levels of Fall colors in a Sumac (sp?)
A view of the brige spanning the waterfall from within the river.
Standing on the edge of a cliff. Seriously, I am. This is the edge of the waterfall which normally has a ton of water flowing over it but because the river was dried up with just a trickle remaining I could walk out into the river and to the edge of the waterfal without getting pushed over. Pretty sweet eh?
Another view off the cliff
I loved the contrasts in this one.
From below the waterfall looking out onto the river. You can see Jimmy with Korben if you look closely.
You can hike down here. There is a concrete stairs then you have to follow the small trail to get to the river. Again, this river is very dry so you can walk across it and go right underneath the waterfall.
More cool contrasts.
From below the falls
Jimmy photographing from below.
Another river...reminds me a little bit of "A River Runs Through It" Love that movie. Love the beautiful landscapes in it.
Korby enjoying the ride.
The end.
