I decided since I've been a bad blogger I'll post a couple things. a ten for today and some pictures!

this is Gracie on Saturday. I got her in Jack's skunk costume (Flower from Bambi) and she wore it for awhile...because we distracted her with a Thomas the Train set. She is saying, "cheese" for me. I didn't teach her that...she got it from Jack. :)
I couldn't resist this...baby butt crack. She'll be mad at me one day when this ends up in the paper or her boyfriend sees it but I'm willing to take the chance.
Opening Gracie's present...see how patient she is...not like her Auntie Jen who can be very impatient...one of my worst faults I think.

me playing Fall ball on a Tuesday night. I'm playing first base and concentrating because that's what I do...concentrate on what I'm doing and have fun. :) Unless I'm playing like shit then I don't have much fun.
So now that I've actually posted pictures which is what I think people really like and some of my funny stories which there haven't been many of lately. How sad. I'm going to post my 10 on Thursday.
- I just found out that I get to make the turkey for Thanksgiving so I decided I'm going to brine it. Yep, I've never made the turkey before but I'm going to give it a shot and I think I'm going to make whiskey-glazed carrots and maybe pecan pie...what do you think?
- I'm in desperate need of a haircut before this weekend. Desperate! I look like a limp shaggy dog. ughh....not attractive in the slightest
- I'd like to get a pedicure...I haven't had one since, oh, the 4th of July. It would feel good to have someone pamper my feet for a change.
- I'm going to make cake balls tonight for Saturday's Halloween party...I'm thinking ghosts, mummies and pumpkins. That sounds like fun. So I'm off at lunch to buy some candy melts and cake stuff.
- I decided I'm going to give Pilates a try. Sounds like something I'd like. Tone up my body some. It could use it.
- Would it be weird for me to take pictures of all the people in costumes I know on Saturday night? Like at Jimmy's house then at the bar? nah...could get annoying though....or not...maybe if I just tell them I'm drunk they won't care or better yet if they are drunk they won't care either. :)
- I need a vacation like fish need water. Hawaii??? If I could get a flight cheap maybe.
- Please make this pain in my leg go away. I have a sneaking suspicion it has something to do with pulling my hamstring in the spring. Lovely...I'm an old woman slowly falling a part with aches and pains. okay I'll stop because now I'm being a whiner.
- I bought two huge bags of Halloween candy and have yet to steal a piece. I consider that stellar self control.
- I tried on my entire costume for Halloween last night and it looks pretty cool. I'm really liking that I bought the slip for under the dress, that I'm wearing two pair of underwear to keep my butt warm and I bought new shoes for the event, uber cheap too, and they are sweet and comfy...the only thing I don't like...having to wear a strapless bra and my hair in pigtails. Yuck! But...it's all a part of the costume and I only have one problem. Where to put my money and ID...the costume doesn't have pockets or anything like that? A garter on my leg maybe? Any ideas?
Anything important should be kept in your bra. . .money, id, cell phone, keys. I personally always keep my money in those situations in my bra. It works and I keep it at that top so I don't have to go fishing either. Kind of at the bottom of the strap before the cup starts. Try it you'll like it. Love Gracie's little butt picture and also the one where she is watching you open her present. Glad that you're blogging again. If you ever watch Tyler's Ultimate (I watch anything on the food network) he has a brine recipe. I think it is him anyway. You need to post about this turkey I am interested to see how it turns out. Okay later.
