List Yourself

Apparently there is this book called "List Yourself" where you make lists of things based on categories. I know, doesn't sound very exciting when you put it that way but I think it's interesting to see what people put down in their lists. Plus I haven't shared anything for awhile. (I got this from Tallyscrapper.)

So, here goes. If you'd like to, post a comment with your lists. 5 items under each "list". I know a lot of people who visit this blog so I'm hoping there are more than 2 people that comment. :) If you'd rather not leave a comment, send me an email instead. :)

1. List your Sunday rituals: sleep in, visit with family, surf the internet, read, watch a movie.
2. List all the smells that make you scream: burnt food, rotting pea-pods, dog poop on my shoe, someone who hasn't taken a shower in a couple of days.
3. List the names you have been called whether they are endearing or not.: Jen, Jen-Jen, JennyPenny, Sweetie, Bulldog
4. List your typical daydreams: lately...sex, food, playing with my niece and nephew, winning the lottery and driving a cherry red convertible Corvette down the road.
5. List the beauty tricks you use to make yourself look "better": a paper bag (jk), foundation, thin black eyeliner, the blackest mascara, a little bit of green eye shadow next to my lash-line, and really good conditioner for my hair (i like it shiny and snarl-free)
6. List the things you can't live without: intelligence, hearing, sight, smell, and my sanity.
7. List the idiotic things you've done for money.: Worked in public accounting, picked rocks (wait, I didn't get paid for that, scratch that), cleaned my parent's basement...um...that's all I can think of. I dont' have any stories of eating a snake or something for $100, sorry. I'm not that exciting. :)
8. List the people you've told off in the past year.: Um...I can't think of anyone other than my husband. How about who I'd like to tell off. 1. George Bush 2.a friend of mine's dad 3.the kid at the movie theatre who left her cell phone on during the movie and it rang 4.the idiots who tailgait me during a blizzard 5.whoever is raising the gas prices.
9. List your lucky charms: I don't have enough luck for charms to work. Let me just say these then. waking up not sleepy, fridays, a good softball bat, the number 2, my black short-sleeved t-shirt
10. List what you do to restore your soul.: Read, be alone, play games with family, go on vacation, drive around in the car and take pictures.

1. Sunday: try to sleep in which typically does not happen because I am programed to wake up at 5:30, read the paper, make breakfast, lounge, cook a big pot or two of soup or chili or a pan of lasagna something that takes too long during the week

3. Names: Danny Boy, Danny Fanny, Geoffrey (like the toys r us giraffe my sister calls me this), rooty pooh candy ass, stinky, Danner-Bannaner,

4. Daydreams: finding a new job, moving to a bigger house, having my sister move home

5.Beauty tricks: Curling my eyelashes, lots of black mascara
eyeshadow colors that make my blue eyes pop

6. Can't live with out: my husband and my best friend, my mp3 player, chap stick, mascara, my car, my cell phone, my dog

7.Idoitic things for money: detassled corn (that's about it)

8. People I've told off: no one that I can think of in the last year

9. Lucky charms: don't leave home with out my wedding ring

10. Restore my soul: go shopping and buy something I don't really need, lose myself in girlie movies, read a good book, cook

OK Jen I will play your crazy game!

1. Sunday: My daughters wake me at 7am - we have a lazy breakfast, then we scrapbook a little if the weather is dreadful (which in Australia where I live at present it is the beginning of Winter) Then get ready for the week - school uniforms bake biscuits (cookies) cakes etc. Go for a walk and the girls ride their bikes.
2. Smells: burnt popcorn, dirty baby nappies (diapers),

3. Names: Because I have an unusual name, it was hard to shorten , in my theatre acting days my nickname was Merle! ugh

4. Daydreams: Renovate my small home, seeing my girls go to University (they are in prep and grade one at present), travelling to Paris this time with my husband and not as a backpacker!
5.Beauty tricks: Using mineral powder base for foundation - it is less heavy and looks natural, using anti wrinkle eye cream before bed EVERY night

6. Can't live with out: my husband, my gorgeous girls, my mobile phone (cell phone) perfume, scrapbooking supplies, my car, music, love.
7.Idoitic things for money:

8. People I've told off: Only my children when they are naughty, but I am at peace and don't want to raise my blood pressure to get angry with anyone!

9. Lucky charms: I don't go outside the house without putting on lipstick and earrings.(if you can call these lucky charms lol)

10. Restore my soul:Have 12 hours scrapping without distractions of little voices! Feels like I have had 2 weeks in the Bahamas (well.. sort of hee hee)
