Gracie
So apparently I've been neglecting to post pictures of my niece, Gracie (well that's my nickname for her, her real name is just plain Grace...you know as in Grace Kelly, Princess of Monaco or whatever. Although I'm sure Grace Kelly didin't fart quite as stinky as Gracie does...'cause if she did the King would have divorced her.).
So I've been neglecting my niece, supposedly, so here are a boatload of pictures of Gracie, my little-fat-stinky-smiley-cranky-pink wearing-comb over niece.
Um...just in case any of you are soon-to-be Mom's I wouldn't advise painting the wall or walls of your nursery this color pink if you plan on taking any picturse of your kid in there. I have to do quite a bit of adjustment to get the color right. It's just a suggestion.
She's not sitting up on her own I'm holding her up slightly. She does like to tip forward and try to chew on her toes. Yoga instructors would be so proud.
Gracie trying to roll over and get her Piglet (I bought that for her in Disney World, that's Florida not California. Cali is DisneyLand.)
Auntie Kimmie, the GodMother playing with Gracie. See how smiley she is...yeah, that's when she's good and not her moody self. Of course she's good when strangers are around so don't be fooled if you see her in person and she's good. There are devil horns under that comb-over. :)
Kimmie playing with Gracie. She likes sitting that way must be the full-frontal of someone paying complete attention to her.
Oh, so here's a story. We are at Kimmie's house and Gracie is sitting on Kimmie's lap just like that and Kimmie suddenly bursts into song and is swinging Gracie's arms around with the beat, "War, ughhh, good God." "What is it worth" "Absolutely nothing" It was funny. Why would you sing that song to a kid? I'm not exactly sure but it was pretty funny. :)
Ah...look at that face. She clawed herself of course. She's little miss grabby paws lately. She grabs my hair and yanks it towards her trying to eat it. I can't imagine it would taste good. Probably smells good but not very tasty.
So the story behind this picture is I was sitting downstairs in the family room at Mitchelley's house and I told her to go and vote for Dancing With the Stars so I grabbed Gracie and plopped her down next to me. So she's sitting up and I've got an arm holding her against me. She just sits there looking at her toy, then she looks up at me and smiles then looks at the book I'm reading. (Dance of the Gods, Nora Roberts). Not a care in the world. Doesn't care what's going on but she's happy. It's strange. Normally she doesn't go for something like that. I must have had the magic touch or something. Maybe it was the got milk shirt...
Gracie chewing on her toesies. Yup, she found 'em. Look at those little hamhock legs. :) makes me chuckle. :)
Dontcha just love that look on her face. She's saying, "Hey, this is my tag and I'm going to chew on it and drool on it and eat it, so get used to the idea and back off, I'm busy here." The story is she loves to reach over and grab the tag on the spare tire (breast-feeding pillow). She does. She leans way back and aroudn to get at it. She knows it's there. It is pretty funny.
Okay, I know this is a Gracie post but I had to sneak one in of the squeak-child. He's too cute. This shot was of him swinging on the swings at the park. This, of course, was before he crawled up the slide instead of down, lost his footing and wacked his mouth on the plastic, thereby causing his mouth to bleed like a stuck pig. Oh yeah, that was fun. He was mad though that we were leaving the park so I bribed him with fruit snacks at Auntie Kimmie's house. LOL hee hee...works every time. sucker.

That picture of Grace trying to chew the tag is too funny.

So, who are you voting for on Dancing with the Stars. That is the only show on TV that I watch.
